We have some surprises from spring/summer 2015 runways, but let’s start with the main make up trends. They like simple and does not change radically face appearance. They are: bronze skin, fine lines, glossy lips and soft, pastel eyes.
Spring summer 2015 beauty trends review:
Black liquid eyeliner is still popular. It perfectly fits both day and evening looks. Fine lines were shown on Marchesa, Saint Laurent, Prada, Céline, Cusnie et Ochs, Emilio Pucci runway shows.
Dolce&Gabbana and Carolina Herrera chose deep berry lipstick that was diffused around the edges for a sultry, stained effect, while Burberry Prorsum, Zac Posen showed bright, flirty orange-reds.
Brown shades were shown at Donna Karan, Givenchy, Gucci, Giorgio Armani, J. Mendel, Roberto Cavalli, Paul & Joe, Reem Acra shows.
FLASH OF COLOR
Fendi, Dior and Peter Som, Honor stylists for the spring/summer 2015 shows used strips of leather, satin stickers and swipes of lipstick instead of traditional eyeliner.
Max Mara and Elie Saab also chose flash of color, but in traditional way.
This trend means minimum mascara and foundation on face. At shows like Jason Wu and Tory Burch were used only pinky-nude lipstick and blush for a more “barely-there” look, while Chanel, Chloé, Calvin Klein, Victoria Beckham allowed some mascara.
The light lavender eye shadow is in vogue in spring/summer 2015. This effect was presented at Derek Lam, Vera Wang, Guy Laroche, Matthew Williamson runway shows.
